KHV Carp Herpes

                                                                Important Information .

Due to a recent outbreak of KHV Carp Herpes at Gedges Lakes in Sevenoaks run by the Paddock Wood Angling Association we ask all members to be extra vigilant we ask all nets and anything that comes in contact with water is thoroughly washed and dried. Nets must be fully dried for at least 30mins before entering our waters.

Paddock Wood Angling Club are advising their members of the following:-

All Fishing tackle (Nets, Stink Bags, Unhooking mats, etc ), basically anything coming into contact with fish or water needs to be disinfected at home, washed throughly in clean water and fully air dried for 24hrs before going to our waters – If DIP NETS are present they MUST be used and indeed any other commercial, day ticket or syndicate water, even people that move/roam between Gedges lakes could transfer anything, so recommend you stay put on one lake and not roam for your session.

This should be the case at all times as that will avoid any problems spread from fishery to fishery.
