The River Wantsum is located between St Nicholas and the sea wall near Reculver.
It is a quiet fishing spot with numerous Carp, Chub, Bream, Tench, Roach, Rudd, and Pike.
If travelling by car then you must park in the carpark area only as the track is used by other users and landowners
It is recommended that Anglers take a weed rake when fishing the wantsum as it can get weedy at certain times of the year and raking of the swim will be required .The Environmental Agency do a weed cut once a year to help.
Day tickets are available from website but there is controlled access so you must contact us by phone or email
There is also a stretch on the A28 at Sarre ,the stretch is between the A28 bridge and the bridge on old road .This is for Members only .4 pegs parking is on the old road
